One of the UK’s most recognisable high street names require a passionate and experienced Buyer to help shape and drive new product ranges through this exciting time of investment and growth. Having recently re-branded and with a focus on engaging with warm hearted, fashion conscious professionals, this is an amazing opportunity for a commercially aware Buyer to the shape the future of one of the biggest names in its field.

As a Buyer you’ll be managing category sales, margin and stock turn whilst optimising costs. You’ll be a natural negotiator, driving competitive deals in line with the fiscal plan and ensuring the critical plan mirrors the promotional calendar.

The ideal candidate for the role will have significant experience as a Buyer, ideally from a background in retail/e-commerce, you will be a high achiever who responds positively under pressure, a fantastic negotiator, commercially aware and have a genuine passion for ensuring both existing and future products are aligned with the needs of the target audience.

Based at the London head office the successful applicant will:

– Have previous Buyer experience
– Have worked in a Buying capacity within a multi sku environment
– Be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the technical buying cycle
– Have excellent communications skills
– Have the ability to interact and influence at all levels, and possess excellent negotiation skills.
– Have a logical approach with a keen attention to detail
– Be results driven and able to work under own initiative
– Have an excellent understanding of the consumer and the ability to think about improving the consumer experience
