Level 2 Qualified Nursery Assistant Practitioner to Work with Toddlers

Salary: £26,000 per year

A nursery in Greenwich is looking to recruit a qualified level 2 to work in their toddler room with children aged 2-3 years old

This vacancy is FULL TIME MON-FRI and you will be required to work 41 hours per week

8am-7pm 4 days a week and 1 half day

The toddler room can cater up to a maximum 15 children therefore experience with this age group will be ideal but not essential

The nursery like to give their children the broadest range of experiences with the best quality providers, so alongside their programme of activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), they also offer a very diverse selection of all-inclusive activities such as forest school in nearby woodland, cooking, yoga, sport, French, drama, music, dance classes, PE, and regular visits to Greenwich Deer Park, The Queen’s Orchard fruit and vegetable garden, Greenwich Ecology Park, and Mudchute Farm, one of the biggest inner-city farms in Europe.

* Minimum level 2 childcare qualification

* Experience working with early years (aged 0-5years)

* Excellent communicator both written & spoken

* Quick learner, team player and have a happy to help attitude

* At least 2 references

* Understanding of EYFS, Ofsted requirements & safeguarding

* Plan & observe for your key children

* Ensuring children’s needs are met as well as health & safety at all times

* Following the nurseries policies & procedures

* Have a can do attitude and sharing ideas

* Communicating with children, staff & parents on a daily basis
