Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year
Shiraka Ltd is currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse to join a new, purpose built Nursery setting in Chingford. This Nursery has the capacity for over 40 children aged 0 – 5 years old, and is open Mon – Fri 7am to 6pm. They close for one week at Christmas and bank holidays.
There is a role in the baby room and also in the toddler room. The roles are full time working 40 hours a week. To be considered for tie role, you will need a minimum of Level 2 Early Years qualification and experience as a Nursery Nurse or Nursery Assistant in a Nursery Setting.
The successful candidate will work as a key person and as a part of the nursery team under the direction of the nursery manager to provide a safe environment, high quality education and care for young children. To maintain a stimulating, enjoyable and clean environment.
Nursery Nurse Requirements:
* Level 3 Certificate in childcare practice or equivalent.
* A satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children.
* Previous experience of working with young children.
* Commitment to diversity and equal opportunities.

* Friendly, flexible approach.
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Good customer awareness
Nursery Nurse Duties include but not limited to:
* viewing planning sheets and record keeping of all the staff in your room
* Ensuring routines are being followed and run smoothly
* Ensuring new decisions are taken on board and maintained in the room at all times
* Ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed by all staff
* Being an excellent role model to the other staff in your room
