Warehouse Operative – Nights

Monday – Friday

£26,000 per year

Our client is seeking warehouse operatives for both ad hoc and ongoing shifts. You will need to be a hard-working person and happy to work on your own or as part of a team.

Requirements:

* You must be able to get to Pucklechurch.

* You must have experience in a similar role.

* You will need to be physically fit due to the nature of the work.

Key responsibilities

* Handle all freight with care and attention.

* Access and egress vehicles using the correct means.

* Report all damages immediately to your line manager.

* Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information.

* Be able to lift to 25KG.

* Ensure that customers freight is transported, stored safely, and treated with respect.

* Follow all aspects of Manual Handling and safe working policies.

* Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight.

* Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team.

* Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately.

* Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot.

Additional information on this role

If you currently have a FLT licence that would be great, as would experience of dealing with high volume warehousing operations.
