Stafforce Recruitment is proud to be recruiting Warehouse Operatives to work on a pre-Christmas project for 6 to 7 Weeks starting in October.

The purpose of this project is to sort and dispatch high volume customer orders for the Christmas period at a warehouse based in BD8, just off Thornton Road.

The Role

The role of Warehouse Operative will involve various activities including unloading, sorting and loading for dispatch.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

* Have proven experience in a fast paced warehousing environment.
* Be able to quickly and accurately read labels and item codes.
* Have excellent attendance and timekeeping.
* Have drive and motivation.
* Have a careful eye for detail.
* Show a high level of flexibility.
* Manual handling training desirable.

Due to the nature of the business you will need to be flexible in the hours you work as they can change at short notice. Our Client can operate a “Flex Up” system which may mean your hours are increased at short notice to meet demand. Your working pattern will involve working some weekends.

The Salary & Benefits

The basic rate of pay is £26,000per year plus a final bonus (equivalent to 80p / worked hour) subject to qualifying criteria.

Hours of work are a day shift – 8am while 6pm with a weekly total of between 29 and 48 Hours. These hours may cover up to 7 days a week so full flexibility is essential.
