We are working with an independent Chartered Management accountancy practice to source a qualified or part qualified Accountant to work with the existing team, writing accounts and general client accountant support.

We can consider part-time or full-time hours so just tell us what you can do and we can discuss it!

The work involved is of a technical nature, writing accounts for which you must be part or fully qualified. We are looking for ACCA CIMA or ICAEW qualifications –we can consider part qualified or qualified individuals too.

The work will be office based, with work from home opportunities/hybrid working and there may be occasional site visits to clients as well as off sites for training and development so a driving licence and own car is required.

This firms’ client base is varied and offers a range of accountancy services to small to medium sized businesses and sole traders. For some clients, they work as a fully outsourced finance department – from raising invoices and chasing debts through to final year end accounts. For other clients, they support them to complete their own books and deal with tax and reporting to HMRC and Companies House. They provide a tailored service to each clients’ needs. This team offers very much more than compliance.

This practice is a progressive and values based business, where the best customer service and a strong attention to detail is essential. They choose their clients carefully to reflect this. The right attitude of the individual is as important as the skills and experience for this role

 Ideal Candidates will be:

• Qualified or part qualified accountants – CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA, qualifications will all be relevant.
• Looking to work permanently in a full-time office based role (there is some flexibility around start and finish times)
• Ideally educated to degree level in accounts
• Have good technical skills with strong attention to detail
• Advanced Excel users
• Really good with people and relationship building
• Car drivers with their own transport
• Be comfortable working with cloud-based systems – ideally Xero
• Be client focused with an outgoing professional but friendly supportive style.
• Have accountancy practice experience
