Engineering Sector

Our client is a busy engineering consumables supplier dealing with a diverse client base across the UK. We require an additional Sales Coordinator to liaise with end users and internal support teams to ensure that orders are met and delivered on time and client enquiries are accurately quoted and logged into the system.

Key Duties Include;

• Providing quotations received from clients and completing commercial data.

• Posting completed quotations onto a system for electronic signature and then sending to the customer.

• Responsible for processing orders liaising with logistics and distribution teams and ensuring all technical and commercial details are finalised.

• Logging cost information.

• Managing orders once placed and being responsible for the issuing of drawings, test material requests etc.

• Calling back customers who have written with order requests.

• Being a single point of contact for key account customers.

• Maintaining quote logs and tracking inquiries and quotes.

• Maintaining the customer database for the UK & Ireland

• Preparing monthly budget reports

• Arranging product returns as needed

• Chasing invoices.

Key Skills required:

To be considered for this Sales Coordinator role you will need to have;

• Excellent IT skills in Outlook, Excel and Word are essential SAP would be an advantage.

• Excellent administration skills

• Excellent communications skills

• Ability to prioritise and multitask

• Ability to meet tight deadlines

• Ability to work under pressure

• Engineering related sales office experience

• High attention to detail
