Finance Business Partner (Part-Time)

Salary: £55,200 per year

An exciting new role of Finance Business Partner to support a highly successful educational establishment based in Ryedale, North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who is qualified, part-qualified or qualified through their experience and is keen to work on a part-time basis – circa 3 days per year term time only. A rewarding position with a salary of circa £55,200pro-rata

As a key member of the leadership team, the successful Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

Creating and driving forward the strategic plan
Providing detailed financial analysis and planning to support the leadership team
Identifying and actioning additional income streams for the organisation
Operational management of the Finance Manager and Facilities Manager
Detailed budgeting and forecasting
Maintaining robust controls and procedures
Supporting and developing positive working relationships with all stakeholders To be successful in this Finance Business Partner position we are looking for the following skills:

Qualification or part-qualification through ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, AAT or qualified by experience
Previous proven experience of working at a strategic level for a busy diverse organisation
To be accurate and efficient with excellent communication skills at all levels
To be confident managing your own time
Possess good IT skills, including MS Office Excel
Ability to lead and mentor staff effectively
Experience of working in the public sector or education would be beneficial but not essential We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in the following roles, financial controller, finance manager, finance business partner or accountant.
