Location: MV1
Shift: 4 ON 4 OFF Day Shifts 06.00am-18.00pm

Culina Group a well established leader in the logistics market is recruiting for a Operational Stock Controller on a permanent basis at our MV1 depot.
The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
– Accurately enter information onto Powerforce using information supplied by the customer and setting rules for product within the system
– Ensure stock has been booked on to the system properly
– Assist in the investigation and resolution of queries discovered during pick bay counts
– Ensure the recording of damages and maintain the procedures for the control of the damaged stock
– Ensure all planned audits are carried out efficiently, accurately and in line with the departmental KPIs and all paperwork is available for audit
– Ensure the procedure for recording stock adjustments is in place and can be audited
– Ensure claims are investigated and provide detailed information to the Senior Stock Controller
– Key in stock check results, produce variance report and undertake investigation to resolve differences
– Report to customers; for held, out of date o damaged stock
– Liaise with customers for adjustment and outstanding claims to assist in resolution
– Maintain excellent customer service levels at all times
– Take on projects as and when required and see them through to successful completion
– Identify means of generating extra revenue through new initiatives (forward thinking)
– Treat other colleagues, managers, customers and other stakeholders equally and with courtesy and respect at all times
– Where possible; assist others with tasks that may be outside of the scope of your role
– Ensure that all company and legislative policies and best practices are adhered to and maintained at all times
– Inform the relevant Team Coordinator of non conformances and ensure that corrective action is taken
– Ensure compliance with all HMC&E procedures throughout the operation
– Adhere to Group H&S procedures with due regard for operational constraints and efficiency
Competence Requirements:
– Experience of working in Stock Control is advantageous
– An adaptable approach to work and the desire to constantly strive for higher standards
– Excellent team working and communication skills
– Able to work using own initiative and to strict deadlines
– Willingness to share knowledge and best practice models
– Willingness to develop own skills and experience through learning interventions
– Able to adapt positively to change
