Residential Care Worker

My client is recruiting Residential Care Workers for their Children’s Home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.

The home specialises in the care and development of young people that have learning disabilities and other complex needs.

You will work with young people on a daily basis ensuring that their care is child centered and that each child is given every possible opportunity of enjoying life to the full taking part in activities in and out the house and developing their life skills to enhance their wellbeing and life as a whole.

As a Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for:

* Contributing to the children’s care plans and risk assessments, their review and implementation
* Contributing to the educational and social development of each individual
* Forming effective relationships with both the residents and their families
* Dispensing, recording and administering medication as required.

You must be articulate, numerate and literate in addition to having a NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People.

This is a permanent full time role and comes with a Salary: £26,000+ depending upon experience.
