CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator

Our client are a prototype engineering company who provide high end low volume production sheet metal services.

The successful candidate will be joining a team who prides themselves on giving excellent customer service, with a fast response resolving queries and supplying parts within very short lead times.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established company as a CNC Programmer / setter.

ROLE:

•The Day to day role will be to work with their experienced Tooling design team taking, creating Cad models importing them into Delcam power mill, creating programs and then cutting the steels on their modern Doosan machines.

•Working with the team to schedule machining on 5 CNC machines,

Requirements:

• Experienced in Cad/Cam using the latest Delcam Power mill and Power shape software creating CNC programs to produce the finished product.

• Good experience as a miller, able to working from job cards, CAD data and drawings. You will be using Fanuc controlled machines, however, good programming experience will be considered.

• Able to programme offline, understanding of both Fanuc and Heidenheimer controls is preferable.

• Ideally apprentice trained.

• Must be able to use a 5-axis mill
