Hours of work: 39 per week (Half day Friday)

Syntech Recruitment are looking for a Tooling Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering business based in Newbury, West Berkshire.
As a Tooling Engineer, you will oversee co-ordination of IME activities during projects and co-ordination of prototype tooling for new products.
The daily duties of a Tooling Engineering include:

Co-ordination of IME activities during Project phase, including process flows, routing, BOMs etc
Preparation of PFMEA documents for new manufacturing processes
Preparation of CAPEX requests for new tooling’s, gauges and other equipment
Ensuring full process capability and KPIs are being met
Preparation of technical specifications and standards for new tooling
Defining tooling control standards, working practices, standard operating and maintenance procedures
The Profile of a successful Tooling Engineer

Engineering Degree beneficial
Proven experience gaining in the delivery of new tools for manufacturing
Experience of continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma etc
2D/3D Cad modelling experience (CREO ideally)
