Our client is a Midlands-based, precast concrete company. They are now seeking an HSEQ Manager to join their team.

As the HSEQ Manager, you will be responsible for developing and promoting health, safety, environmental and quality policies, as well as driving a culture of continuous improvement within the business.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll develop HSE processes, policies and procedures to ensure continued excellence and compliance. Constantly monitoring HSEQ performance, you’ll conduct planned and reactive audits and inspections, and recommend improvements.

Additionally, you’ll promote a positive HSE culture throughout the company and carry out investigations into accidents, dangerous occurrences and any near miss reports.

Your other duties will include:

– Ensuring that all external audits comply with ISO, OHSAS and Achilles Building Confidence accreditation
– Producing reports to communicate project and business performance
– Identifying any HSEQ training needs within the company

To be considered for this role, you must have:

– Experience of working in a HSEQ role within a construction or construction materials business
– A working knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Achilles Building Confidence
– A NEBOSH certificate

As the HSEQ Manager, you must possess effective communication skills, a methodical approach and a great eye for detail. Methodical and influential, you must also have strong time management abilities.
