Nursery Deputy Manager

Salary: £28,800 – £34,800 per year

We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Deputy Manager position in West Drayton to join a private nursery. This is an office based Nursery Deputy Manager role, and overseeing the day to day running of the setting, along side the Manager.

If you are currently working as a Senior Nursery Nurse or Third In Charge, and looking to take the next step in you your carer as a deputy Nursery manager, then this could be a great role for you.

This is a full time role working hours a week, and the nursery is closed for bank holidays and 1 week for Christmas.

Nursery Deputy Manager requirements:

* Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience

* Previous senior or Deputy experience in a Nursery Setting

* Minimum Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent

* Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS

* Empathetic, caring and friendly

* Experience of SEND

* Managing budgets, invoicing and payroll

Nursery Deputy Manager Duties:

* To oversee the efficient and safe running of the allocated Base Room

* To assist in coordinating rotas

* To maintain staff:child ratios at all times

* To contribute to the induction process for new and promoted staff

* To develop strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, children
