Our client, a leading waste management operator, is looking to recruit an Operations Specialist to take responsibility for maintaining the level of service provision for a waste collections and street cleansing contract. You will ensure the efficient use of resources with regard to equipment, materials and personnel whilst monitoring and controlling the operations to ensure the achievement of budgeted revenue, operating profit and cash targets.

Candidate requirements:

* Holder of Transport Manager CPC (or willing to work towards).

* Holder of a COTC Waste Management Treatment/Transfer Level 4 (or willing to work towards).

* Experience of operational management within the waste management industry.

* Strong reputation for consistent delivery of projects on time and to budget within a demanding environment.

* Experienced in preparing and working to budgets.

* Proven ability as a line manager; able to recruit, develop, motivate and control operations and technical staff.
