Location: East London / Essex
Salary: £38,400 – £48,000Starting Basic Salary + Bonus + Benefits + Career
Monday – Friday only
We are recruiting an Assistant Manager for a very well respected builders merchants and supplier of construction supplies, building materials and civils materials
Builders Merchants Experience?
Knowledge of Civils or Heavyside Drainage, working with Groundworkers and Civils Contractors?
Construction Supplies Sales Experience?
Management experience within the Civils Merchants / Builders Merchants?
Assistant Branch Manager in the Merchants? A Branch Manager of tomorrow?

We are recruiting an Assistant Branch Manager position for an extremely well respected, Builders Merchant / Civils Merchant in the area. Working alongside the Branch Manager you will be part of the senior management, helping drive forward the sales and profitablity of the business. We need a classic Assistant Branch Manager who can bring sales and commercial accumen as well as strong operational capabilities.
A large branch, turning over in excess of £8m per annum, this is a fantastic branch with a great team. We need to find a high quality Assistant Branch Manager to join the team – someone with a sales management background who has a sales lead approach but who can also handle the operational side of an Assistant Management role.
A background within the civils merchants or the builders merchant sector (or similar) is certainly an advantage but by no means essential. If you are looking to take the next step in your career and develop in a company who will provide you wuth the tools you need, we’d love to hear from you.
