Vacancy – Branch Sales Assistant

Location – Epsom, Chessington, Sutton Surrey area

Salary – circa £26,400 – £28,800per annum

Our client is looking for a good all round branch sales assistant.

The role will involve telephone sales, trade counter sales, warehouse work and dealing with customer queries over the phone.

Ensuring that the needs of the customers are dealt with as well as adhering to company Health and Safety requirements

Reactively handling incoming phone calls and Trade Counter enquiries

Processing orders and quotes using the company systems

Sourcing products and placing the relevant orders

Building, developing and managing relationships with customers

Ensuring all records, systems and paperwork are kept up-to-date

You will also help ensure that the stock and stores area are well organised

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

A large part of the role will be working on the trade counter so an exceptional customer facing person would be ideal for this role as well as the ability to communicate well over the phone.

Skills & Experience needed?

Good trade counter sales knowledge and experience

Manage, meet and exceed customer expectations

The ability to build relationships with a variety of customers

Have managed or worked on the trade counter before in trade / construction environment

Good telephone manner

Enjoys sales and dealing with people

Friendly, articulate, customer focused
