Well established, stable company seeking someone to join their friendly team for an initial 12 month contract. You must have experience of Import documentary credits, be self-motivated, able to work within a team, and be highly literate and accurate.

Position involves supporting trading division covering Latin America, the Caribbean and Southern Europe. You will need to adapt to ever changing import requirements from customer’s countries and familiarise with necessary labelling

The role consists of preparing, opening and amending Import Letters of Credit (LOC). Previous experience is essential, although the successful candidate will be fully trained in company procedures and in matters specific to this role.

You will liaise with suppliers in Asia, Middle East, Caribbean and Latin America in order to correct documents, and clarify requirements with banks. The role requires becoming aware of regulatory requirements of the importing countries to ensure that the goods and documents comply with current local regulations, and also with customer’s specific needs. Knowledge of Import Docs needed for each country dealing with

Must be keen, organised, enthusiastic, able to prioritise workloads, numerate, and adaptable to the day to day requirements of work. Computer skills in Word, Excel and Email are important.

Spanish language skills essential.
