Nursing Home Deputy Manager – RMN or RGN

Time Healthcare are proud to be working with a leading care group in South Wales, Bridgend

My client is looking to employ an enthusiastic Deputy Home Manager who is also a qualified Nurse with a passionate about managing a home ensuring the highest standards of care is met.

This is a Large home, beds provide both EMI nursing and EMI residential services to provide a person centred approach in the provision of services. Also within the Home there is a 15 bed unit for younger adults with complex care needs.

Responsibilities include:

– To be the person-in-charge for the day-to-day running of the home.
– To promote a caring environment for service users through high standards of professional practice that are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the service users.
– To ensure that each service user receives appropriate care for their individual needs.
– To implement the requirements of the National Minimum Standards for Care Homes for Older people, published in accordance with the Care Standards Act 2000 and associated regulations.
– To work within the NMC codes of conduct and Scope of Practice and within the Home’s policies and procedures.
– To ensure the financial viability of the home in accordance with agreed budgets.
