The Company:

Our client is currently looking for a number of experienced Groundworkers due to recently winning new contracts. Our client is a regional developer and is working on a number of bespoke residential developments across York and the North Yorkshire region.

The role:

Due to my clients ever increasing volumes of work, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Groundworkers to join their team for an initial 6-week period. The successful candidate will be working in a team and will be responsible for carrying out small groundworks, drainage related minor repairs, reinstatements, excavations and block paving on a private residential site near York.

The candidate:

To be considered for this role you must have:

* Previous groundworks, excavation and reinstatement experience

* Experience in drainage, block paving, curbs, pathways

* Up to date CSCS

* First aid trained would be desirable but not essential.

The Rewards:

The rewards for the successful candidate are good. The company are willing to pay an initial rate of between £26,000 – £35,100 per year. They are ideally looking to appoint people directly for an initial 6 week period which could potentially be extended or become permanent for the right person.
