Payment & Online Fraud Analyst

The Role:
Ensure that the Payment Fraud Manager is aware of latest trends in fraudulent activity against the company.
The production of robust, high quality analysis and insight into payment fraud.
Ensures fraud prevention has minimal impact on customer sales and service, making recommendations to achieve minimal impact to service.
To produce robust, high quality analysis and insight into online and contact centre shrinkage.
Identify trends for further investigation, with cases referred to the Manager, Payment Fraud for onward action.
Make recommendations to mitigate fraud and ensure fraud rates are kept within agreed thresholds.

The Person:
You will require a CRB check as part of the vetting & screening for this role.
You will have previous experience in a similar role working in the online payment fraud environment with customer awareness, and an understanding of high risk transactions in the retail arena.
You will have in-depth understanding of the various payment channels and experience of managing stakeholders.
You will have excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
Excellent SQL skills and an advanced Excel user.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
