CSCS Site Steel Fitter
Area: Oldbury
Pay: up to £19.2
Hours: Mon – Fri 50 hours+
Immediate start
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fitter & Fitter’s Mate to join a well-known structural Steel fitting company in the Oldbury area on a full time, permanent basis. This position will include travelling to various sites covering the entirety of England & Wales. You will be required sometimes to work up to 65 hours a week.
Driving licence and CSCS card is a must
As a Structural steel Fitter/Fitter’s mate your duties will include:
* Travelling to sites across the UK
* Fitting structural steel structures including Staircases, Mezzanines, Balustrades etc
* Working as part of a close team and have the initiative to work on your own accord
* Ensuring customer daily KPI’S are met.
* Reading engineering drawings.
* Occasionally working away overnight
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience of working in the same industry
* Valid CSCS card and driving licence
* Able to read basic drawings
* Experience with working on site
* Ambitious to develop skills within this sector
* Flexible approach to working hours
