Bookkeeper

Salary: £26,000 – £36,000 per year

Accountancy Practice based in Warwick is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team. The successful bookkeeper will be AAT qualified or have a relevant bookkeeping qualification.

This Accountancy Practice works with a wide range of clients offering a range of services. The successful Bookkeeper will ideally have experience using Xero software and will have worked in an Accountancy Practice previously.

The bookkeeper will be managing and doing the bookkeeping across the office and liaising with managers.

Bookkeeper Position Overview

Posting purchase & sales invoices from receipt bank or on Xero

Bank reconciliations

Completing VAT returns

Reviewing Profit and Loss and Balance sheet

Reporting to management

Managing and preparing the Vat returns through the use of software’s such as Xero, Quickbooks or manual Vat returns

Preparation of management accounts

Bookkeeper Position Requirements

Experience working within an accountancy practice is essential

Must be experience in use of Xero, if possible also with receipt bank and QuickBooks.

Must have experience of preparing VAT returns

AAT qualified

Lives locally to Warwick

Bookkeeper Position Remuneration

Salary: £26,000 – £36,000per year(dependant on experience)

Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays

Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
