KWA are currently looking to recruit an Accounting and Business Advisory Supervisor, for our client based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of accounts for clients at all levels from large corporates to SME’s, and this role is focussed on preparation of year end statutory financial statements in advance of the audit process. Due to the nature of this work, a strong understanding of Financial Reporting Standards, Consolidation technique, LLP SORP and UK GAAP is essential.

Requirements

ACA / ACCA fully qualified
A good understanding of UK financial reporting requirements
Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and to add value
Strong oral and written communication skills
Well-developed people skills to relate to clients and colleagues
Good organisational and time management skills
Competent understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel and Sage Line 50
Preferred Working knowledge of Corporate Taxation
