Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are currently recruiting for a Buyer to manage engineering spares & MRO parts. My client is a large manufacturing business with high value capital production equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and managing the stock levels of engineering consumable parts, and managing product for maintenance projects. You will place and expedite orders, ensure optimised stock profiles and look for cost reduction opportunities. You will work closely with the engineering teams to ensure product is available to avoid any impacts on the facility.
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
-Background in engineering based products
-Sourcing experience, both domestic and international
-Negotiation and contract skills
-Excellent communication and liaison skills
-Excellent analytical and numeracy skills backed by good MS Excel knowledge
