Recovery Coordinator

Salary: £26,620 – £31,813 per year

Hales Group are seeking a Recovery Co-ordinator. This is a 6 month placement opportunity, working 30 hours per week. The role will be based in Norwich however please note, this role can also include remote working, £26,619.6 – £31,813.2 per annum.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner to lead our work supporting adult victims and survivors to recover from domestic abuse. The role includes delivering group programs alongside recruiting and training peer mentors to support victims and survivors. The Recovery Co-ordinator role also leads our co-production and authentic voice work.

With experience supporting people impacted by domestic abuse in a group setting and experience involving volunteers in a service, you will be passionate and proactive. You will have a clear understanding of how support around recovery can build hope and resilience for the future.

You will value, champion and amplify the voices of our service users, ensuring they are represented in every level of our service delivery, and in our relationships with partners

The role works alongside a multi-disciplinary team incorporating Community IDVA’s, Children and Young People Workers, Behaviour Change Practitioners ensuring that individuals, couples and families are safe from domestic abuse.

You will require a professional qualification in the social care field such as Health & Social Care, Community Health, QTS, Youth & Community, IDVA or Outreach etc.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and the ability to work with other organisations to meet the needs of our clients.

You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of and experience in safeguarding and risk management.
