This is a fantastic opportunity for a Category Insight Manager to work for an exciting and reputable organisation based in Dewsbury. The key responsibilities will be the following:
* Responsible for managing the competitive review process within Category Management
* Working within the Category Management and Insight teams to define and look at the possibilities of projects which address business or retailer challenges or questions
* Exploring and manipulating data
* Analyse data and make projections and suggestions to present to internal teams and external customers
* Meet with key stakeholders to communicate progress, problems and tasks required to achieve objectives
* Plan activities to meet set priorities and completion dates
* Must be able to demonstrate analytical thought and take leadership to drive project work
* Responsible for detailed analysis and testing to determine if the procedures have been implemented properly
* Analysis and interpretation of data
* Must be able to present the Category Insight projects to external customers and internal colleagues
* Project manage a number of Category Insight projects
In addition the following skills and competencies are required:
* You must be highly numerate and analytical with advanced Excel skills
* Previous Category Management experience is preferable however not essential
* Experience of data analysis and interrogation.
* You must be an excellent communicator and comfortable in communicating and presenting to different levels of management.
* You must possess the ability to organise and prioritise in order to meet deadlines.
