Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year
A Senior Environmental Acoustic Scientist is required to work a major multidisciplinary consultancy based in London.
You will be joining the noise and air quality team, and will be involved in various types of projects across a range of industry sectors such mining, waste management facilities and renewable energy.
Requirements are-
*A minimum of 3 years working experience in Acoustics, Noise and Vibration.
*BSc or MSc in Acoustics or closely related subject.
*Good knowledge and understanding of noise monitoring and assessment methods.
*Institute of Acoustics associate or full membership.
*Driving licence.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*High numeracy skills.
*Being able to work on own initiative.
Duties will be-
*Undertaking noise monitoring, assessments and modelling.
*Preparing and writing technical reports.
*Liaising with clients.
*Supporting junior staff.
*Maintaining commercial awareness of market and the company.
As you will be part of the noise and air quality team, my client is preferably looking for someone with air quality assessment work although this is not essential for the role. If successful you will receive a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
