Electrical Fitter

Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year

Electrical Technician (Projects) – Stroud

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Carries out electrical, pneumatic plumbing and other work on racking systems and enclosures.

* Carries out electrical installation and testing

* Occasional installation and de-commissioning of Air Quality Monitoring Systems and hire equipment in the field (requiring travel across the UK).

* Is responsible for the storage and maintenance of all hand tools and power tools used

* Is responsible for the safe operation and tidiness of the project area.

* Carries out certain building maintenance and testing tasks on an ad hoc basis.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and Experience

* Appropriate electrical qualifications are preferred

* 18th or 17th Edition preferred but not essential

* Experience with panel wiring, and instrumentation wiring.

* Ability to read technical drawings.

* Hands on experience of electrical, pneumatic and system installations.

* Familiar with electrical test equipment.

* Use of test equipment and knowledge of various electronic instrumentation is desirable.

* Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Full time, permanent role – 35 hours per week.

£33,600 – £36,000per annum, 25 days holiday, Life Assurance 4 x salary; Full Private Medical Insurance after passing probation; access to Company pool vehicles
