Position: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Home based in the Midlands, (Coventry, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Redditch, Leicester, Nottingham, Stoke, Telford, Shrewsbury, Hereford)
Salary: Negotiable depending on industry & market knowledge – Construction vehicles/machines, On/Off Highway vehicles/machines, Municipal Vehicles, Agriculture machinery/vehicles
We have an exiting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a global organisation. We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer that has experience of selling to businesses, OEM’s and Tier 1 from the Construction, On/Off Highway, Municipal Vehicles and Agricultural industry sectors. It is essential that your selling experience is related to machinery, mobile machinery or vehicle machinery.
Key experience & skills required for the Technical Sales Engineer vacancy:
* Previous experience selling capital equipment, automated equipment, electrical/mechanical products, controls systems, sensors, cables, switches and related products and components to mobile machinery or vehicle machinery customers.
* Experience selling to Construction, On/Off Highway, Municipal Vehicles or Agriculture sectors.
* Proven account management skills.
* Experience in a similar role within the UK prior to this role.
* Knowledge or experience in delivering Systems/Capital sales proposals to end users is preferential.
* Knowledge of or experience in trial processes leading to long term component sales.
* Manage Solution Sale and to add value at each opportunity.
* A formal qualification in Engineering to at least BTEC HNC/D level or industry-based equivalent knowledge and experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work on their own initiative and as member of a team.
