Field Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required to join an independent provider of technical moulding for plastics and rubber materials e.g. thermoplastic injection moulding. The company provide a complete service from design/NPI, to moulding and secondary operations. We focus on aerospace & defence with AS9100 accreditation & SC21 Bronze.

The Field Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will be selling the company’s products and services UK wide although the majority of the customers are based within 100 miles of the office in Hampshire.

The candidate must have experience of plastic injection moulding and knowledge of rubber is preferred.

The role would suit someone currently working as an Internal Sales Engineer looking for the next step up or for someone currently working as a Field Sales Engineer.

The office is based in Hampshire and ideally the candidate would live in the Midlands. The role is covering the Midlands and the South

Responsibilities
Preparation of quotations and proposals
Preparing for and visiting clients
Manage key accounts
New business development by building strong relationships
Support customers through their design concepts and product development.
Communicate with target markets to generate leads
Work with our existing team to deliver product quality and customer service.

Requirements
Previous experience of plastic injection moulding
Previously held a similar position of Technical Sales Engineer
Full driving licence
Highly motivated and results driven
Proven sales track record
I.T. Literate

Package
£35,000 – £40,000 DOE + bonus
