Introduction
Astute Technical Recruitment are working exclusively with Severn Waste Services, a joint venture between FCC and Urbaser, to supply all Operations, Maintenance and Administrative staff to the new EnviRecover Energy from Waste plant currently under construction in Hartlebury, Worcestershire.
We are currently recruiting for a number of Operations & Maintenance Assistants to join the operations department of this new build EFW facility. The OMA’s will form part of a Shift Team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the power station.
The EnviRecover (aka Hartlebury Energy from Waste) plant will combust municipal waste at rate of 200,000 tonnes per year and produce in excess of 16 MW to export to the grid, enough to power over 20,000 homes. In total the power station will create 41 permanent roles covering operational, maintenance and administrative disciplines.
What will I be doing?
Operating yellow plant.
Managing bottom ash and scrap metal.
Managing waste in the tipping hall.
Ensuring the constant availability of waste to be processed.
Managing waste deliveries.What experience does role require?

Experience of driving yellow plant.
