NHS Supervisor (Facilities)

Taskmaster is looking for a supervisor to work for an NHS organisation in Wakefield.

Days of work: 5 days over 7 – includes weekends

Hours of work: 0600 – 1400 / 0700 – 1500 / 1300 – 2100 / 1400 – 2200

Salary: £26,000per year (Basic), £26,000 per year (Saturday), £26,000 per year (Sunday)

Duration: 6 – 12 months

Overview:

To work as a part of the operational Facilities Team to co-ordinate and support the effective delivery of Departmental and retained estate Domestic Services, ward based Housekeeping Services and patient movement services

Duties:

1 To identify and respond to user needs and to solve problems/complaints as and when they arise.
2 To train, monitor and supervise the Ward Housekeepers in all the elements of their ward role including catering
3 Completion and returning of Absence Monitoring forms.
4 To ensure that return to work interviews are completed in a timely manner and that the Team Leaders are informed when the an employee reaches the next stage of the Trust Management of Sickness and Absence Policy.
5 Arranging delivery of completed timesheets/timecards to payroll.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a criminal record check via Taskmaster or to have subscribed to the DBS update service
