Assistant Manager – Live

Salary: £28,800 – £32,400 per year

Assistant Manager required for a well know food and quality drinking pub situated in the village in the Southern Cotswolds, just 30 minutes from Bristol, this can be a live in Position if required. Tips- shared (which are usually generous) on top of the salary

The pub itself is a classic Cotswold stone pub, with a public bar, saloon bar/restaurant and back restaurant. Total covers in the pub are about 100. Outside there are two gardens. The front one has a covered and heated stretch tent, plus a skittles alley (currently used to watch sports on a big screen). There are also three Boules pitches and they run a very successful Boules league which brings in c. 50 people per night in the Summer

The food is modern country bistro cuisine, with a strong kitchen team producing delicious dishes and has a very good reputation. The pub is also known as a vibrant quality village drinking establishment with many diverse groups using it

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join the team and help manage the pub. Key skills required are:

* Time management of the team

* Able to assist with staff development and coaching

* Input with the development and marketing of the business

* An ability to run a busy food service

* Good personality needed for our diverse customer base

* Good bar skills needed

* Knowledge of Cellar & drink

* Cover the manager’s days off and holidays
