They seek a Finance manager to support their future growth
The Role of Finance Manager
- Lead the team financial discussions, ensure all stakeholders are made aware of the financial health of the business, and provide recommendations for remedial actions as required,
- Timely delivery of senior management reports and company dashboards,
- Achievement of direct KPI’s, collaboration and participation on all indirect and interdependent senior team KPI’s,
- Understand, and application of all financial legislation, requirements, regulations, and HMRC compliance,
- Prepare month end and year end accounts within established accounting guidelines,
- Annual budgeting, quarterly reviews, P&L, and cash flow forecasting and reports,
- Financial modelling, break-even, cost benefit, and cost reduction analysis
- Financial planning and risk assessment reporting,
- Taxation planning in conjunction with company external accountant,
- Uphold, maintain, and recommend financial policies and procedures for the company
- Compiling and issuing sales invoices in line with fee proposals,
- Credit control, client queries and initiating debt recovery procedures,
- Controlling company expenditure, payroll, and pension administration within your delegated authority schedule,
- Daily bank reconciliation,
Ø Build upon key relationships with the bank, invoice financing, and merchant institutions,
- Maintaining compliance with PCI DSS and GDPR requirements where applicable.
The Candidate For Finance Manager
- Qualified as, or within the latter stages of working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA certification,/QBE
- Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or QBE with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role,
- Demonstrable experience; finance administration, budgets, cost benefit analysis, and complex dashboards,
- Ability to interpret data and confidently make and influence sound decisions based on evidence,
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders,
- Good PC/laptop skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email, and the use of the Internet,
