Bricklaying Tutor

Salary: £27,600 – £32,400 per year

Chameleon School of Construction are looking to recruit a new bricklaying tutor to join our team. We are seeking an individual who is looking for a rewarding, enjoyable career with an expanding innovative construction training company.

This full time position to start in September will involve working primarily from our Burton on Trent centre alongside our existing team including support staff, technicians and tutors. The ideal candidate will ideally have experience both within the Construction industry & be ideally qualified to Level 3, however this is not essential. They will ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of a PTLLS qualification, however if this is not something you have, it is something that we can support the right applicant to achieve.

This position is suited to an individual who has a genuine desire to help and support learners of varying abilities. We consider our learners to be extremely important and you would need to possess the necessary skills in which to empower and develop in order to help them succeed in being the very best version of themselves. Full time learners will vary in age from 16+ with no upper age limit however on occasion you will have learner attend from a school setting aged 14+.

You must have a can-do attitude and be open to new ways of teaching. As part of the team you will be expected to carry out continual professional development and have good communication skills. Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are required for this role.
