Software Tester

Software Tester / Software Test Analyst from £18-25,000 (Depending on experience)

Our client is a progressive, technology-driven organisation that is growing at a phenomenal rate. They are now looking for a Junior Software Tester / Software Test Analyst to join their busy IT team.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful Software Tester / Software Test Analyst will be responsible for developing and carrying out test plans on all software applications. The main purpose of this role is to identify any faults on software applications and to accurately assess the level of risk or defect the application possesses. In performance of this role, the ideal Software Tester / Test Analyst will be working closely with the Software Development team in order to produce high-level test designs and plans.

The ideal Software Tester / Software Test Analyst will have experience of manual and automated testing which should include web testing experience. Any exposure to testing and quality best practice (ideally ISO9000: TickIT standards) is advantageous as is experience of payments or security suit browser testing. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to prepare test documentation to a high standard.
