Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 per year
You’ll be working within a true engineering consultancy business, low volume race car production and prestige classic car restorations are just some of their specialities. With many exciting projects on the go they are looking to add to their growing team with a stores person.
As a stores person you’ll be based within a busy stores environment carrying out tasks such as goods in/goods out, picking from job orders, issuing stock to internal stake holders & via external customer orders, keeping the stock on the business ERP system accurate and up to date at all times.
For this role you’ll need experience of working within a busy stores environment and this will need to be within an engineering/manufacturing environment as you’ll be handling expensive mechanical components. You’ll need strong IT skills and have experience in using an ERP/MRP system.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract role, you’ll be on the books of my client and be entitled to the full benefits of a permanent employee which include pension, healthcare, life assurance and even have access to their on-site gym. A couple of employees who joined last year on a fixed term contract last year were recently made permanent so this certainly can be an option further down the line. This is a Monday to Friday days only role, no shift pattern.
