National Account Manager – Sainsburys

Would you like to work for a major Blue Chip FMCG organisation within the Food and Drink Industry managing their Sainsbury account?

As a National Account Manager you will strategically manage your account ensuring annual turnover, volume and profit growth targets are achieved. You will be able to showcase your skills by developing business plans and exploiting new opportunities to match the company’s proposition and business needs.

You will be working closely with NPD, Technical, Buyers, Marketing, Supply and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating, implementing, reviewing and revising detailed customer business plans which will drive the achievement of the accounts full year sales and volume budgets
All elements of the process including developing existing listings, generating new business, managing product launches and implementing promotional activities to deliver the sales and volume budget
Awareness and positive influencing of customer profitability.
Implementation of tight account management and administrative procedures including spend, debtors, sales forecasting, pricing and contract management
Develop customer relationships and raise awareness of the organisation and brand portfolio via on-going professional conduct and achievement of an appropriate entertainment plan

Requirements

Commercial experience of managing major accounts (Food/Drink/FMCG background preferred)
Proven track record of realising the potential of a key account
Self-motivated and achievement orientated
Demonstrable negotiation and interpersonal skills
