Leading consumer durables brand who supply into the building, architecture and specification industry are looking to recruit a National Account Manager to look after one of their major accounts. They are the second largest company of its kind in the UK, generating an annual turnover of over £60 million. The company supplies sectors including private and social housing, health and education, tourism and leisure.

The business operate via the trade distribution channel and require this National Account Manager to come in and look after a key distributor. Previous experience working in this channel would be advantageous.

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and managing one of their key national accounts in order to maximise sales, margin and market share. You will be required to establish and maintain relationships at all key levels within the account and ensure new products are rapidly introduced and stocked in depth.

You will be required to deliver the following:
• Achievement of budget sales and margin
• Grow market share within the account
• Introduction of new products
• Maintain excellent relationships with all key decision makers

You will require the following skills and experience:
• Previous experience working in a National Account position
• Experience with a similar route to market through distribution
• Experience with a consumer product would be advantageous

This role is paying a very competitive salary dependent on experience, plus company car or car allowance as well as additional benefits.
