Climb Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finishing Operative in the Rotherham area

Role: Finishing Operative

Key Duties
Remove defects from castings

Utilise a range of hand tools, (electric, pneumatic, hydraulic)

Work to tight tolerance’s and follow the required quality procedure at all times.

Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometer’s, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.

Required Skills & Experience
Applicants must have previous experience in a Production / Manufacturing environment.

Manually dextrous

Strong attention to detail

Flexible team worker who can work safely on own initiative

Good written and verbal communication skills

Working Hours / Benefits for Both Positions

Week 1 – Monday to Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday – 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,

Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday – 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.,

25% shift allowance on the afternoon shift

Paid Overtime (Mon – Fri, Time and a Third), (Saturday, Time and a Half) and (Sunday, Double Time)

22 days, plus bank holidays, plus an additional day for each complete year of service, up to a maximum of five additional days.
