Process Chemical Engineer – Cambridgeshire – £35,000 – £46,000.

An opportunity has arisen for a Process Chemical Engineer who has worked in a Chemical, Pharma or BioChemical environment. You will possess the ability to supervise staff reporting directly, ensuring high standards of discipline, safety and quality are maintained in this rapidly moving and hazardous working environment.

Responsibilities:
– To provide a Chemical Engineering service on project work, on production and maintenance support.
– Ensuring that all installations comply with company standards and statutory regulations within a chemical environment.
– To work within a team to gain a thorough understanding of project management techniques to be able to organise and control groups of contractors.
– Control capital of projects typically of the order of £500k.

Personal Specification:
– To have worked in a Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical or BioChemical environment.
– Experience of supervising contractors.
– Hazardous area knowledge.
– CapEX project experience.
– Statutory and regulatory experience in Chemical environment.
