Salary: £60,000 – £78,000 per year
An exciting permanent opportunity as a Product Owner to join a progressive, growing and forward-thinking organisation in the Brighton area.
Working within an already established team, you will be a mid-senior level Product Owner with demonstrable experience working as a Product Owner, ideally within a UX/UI capacity whether that be present or past experience.
You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the products and assisting with the deliverance of new and innovative initiatives. You will be responsible for driving and defining the launch of new products, services and features for customers and internal users.
You will have experience of managing expectations within the business and senior stakeholders and possess fantastic customer service skills and enjoy communicating with a mixture of teams and external customers.
The role is fast passed and varied with the opportunity to work on numerous exiting and future projects. You will be highly experienced in gathering requirements then translating them from business teams to the technical and development teams.
Based within an Agile environment, you would be involved and accountable for leading sprint reviews, streamlining projects, defining user stories and release planning.
Please note this role offers hybrid working – two days in the office and three days working from home if required.
Skills/Experience/Attributes:
- Min of 3-5 years’ experience as a Product Owner
- Ideally present or past experience working within a UX/UI environment
- Experience of streamlining projects and defining user stories
- Solid experience of working within an Agile environment
- Experience of leading sprint reviews
- Experience of gathering and translation of own requirements from the business to technical teams
- Knowledge or experience of working with the Jira toolset is desirable
- Strong key Stakeholder Management is essential
- Outstanding communication skills
- Organised, pro-active and self-motivated
- Friendly, approachable with a flexible work attitude
- High attention to detail and be confident to talk through examples of experience from start to finish
