Drug, Alcohol and Family Practitioner
One of our clients is currently looking for Drug, Alcohol and Family Practitioner to work within the Children and Families Service based in Scottish Borders. This post is a 9 month contract with a pay of £15.6 – £19.2 per hour.
Requirements
All applicants must have a HNC/SVQ 3 qualification and be able to work in the UK. Experience within Drug & Alcohol as well as Children’s is required for this role.
Duties
Engage with and undertake direct work children and young people (aged between 0-18) and parents / carers to meet the above aims of the Service.
Planning and delivery of 1:1 and family sessions according to a service plan which is reviewed periodically with service users and relevant professionals.
To utilise assessment tools as required.
Manage a caseload effectively and take responsibility for prioritising workload, own time management and completion of all relevant paperwork, case notes and recordings to set timescales.
Work part of a team to develop the Service to ensure it meets the needs of and feedback from service users and other key professionals.
Work in flexibly to ensure children, young people, parents and carers can engage in the Service.
Attend professional / interagency / practice meetings and forums as required.
