THE COMPANY:

This company is a Building Service (Mechanical and Electrical) company that provides a complete package of managed building services across a number of sectors, including: Retail, Industrial, Commercial, Health, Public Sector and residential throughout the UK. They work with major retailers, national developers and commercial chains. The aim for the company is to provide effective, economical and sustainable solutions to allow them to win and retail business within each sector they operate in.

THE ROLE

As a Mechanical Site Manager your role will require you to review all drawings and specifications from the client or main contractor and resolve any discrepancies on site. You will need to ensure that the work is carried out to a high standard and be instrumental in maintaining good relationships with all clients and main contractors. You will be supervising site operatives and contractors on site, ensuring that all H&S documentation is kept up to date and all paperwork in completed on time in full. This role will be working with a UK wide retail client.

THE PERSON

The ideal person for this role will come from a strong Mechanical Building Services background and be a good communicator across a number of different levels (clients, contractors and statutory bodies), be calm and focussed under pressure and also hold a full UK driving license. Furthermore, as this role will require significant UK travel, you must be prepared to lodge away at least 3 days per week.
