An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join an established and well-respected M&E Building Services contractor.

You will be responsible for managing 2 – 3 projects in the Cambridgeshire area. You will be required to report into Head Office based in the Bury St Edmunds area, once a week to meet with senior management.

Providing Mechanical and Electrical services from Design through to Installation and Commissioning across various sectors including, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Commercial and High-End Residential, with project values ranging from £200k up to £5m, our client undertake work for a variety Building Main Contractors as well as end users.

Mechanical Project Manager:

• You will need to be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager, or similar role, (i.e. Mechanical Contracts Manager), with experience working for a Building Services contractor, and have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects in excess of £1m
• Working within the Contracts Management team and alongside the Commercial department to ensure that the project(s) assigned to you are delivered on time and within budget
• Manage site staff and sub-contractors
• Effective communication and client facing skills
• Strong people management skills
• Commercial awareness
• Good IT skills
• Industry Standard HVAC / Heating and Plumbing, or Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Qualifications and Certificates
• Driving Licence
