Warehouse/Terminal Operative:

The role of a Warehouse / Terminal Operative is to carry out warehouse tasks as directed to assist the smooth and efficient running of the operation and to ensure that deliveries are made on time to Heathrow and its retailers.

General Duties:

* Operatives may be deployed in customer facing roles over at the terminal.
* Manual Handling
* Working in a team environment
* Working in a safe manner
* Processing paperwork – as required
* Operating IT systems – as required
* Working within a physically demanding environment
* Operating of Mechanical Handling Equipment
* Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
* Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
* Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
* Have appropriate hand, eye and foot co-ordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment
* Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations.

Working Hours
40 hours per week secured – Roster – same 2 days off every week
Shift work between Monday – Sunday
Shift Patterns:
06:00-14:00 £26,000 per year
14:00-22:00 £26,000 per year
22:00-06:00 £26,000 per year
