Warehouse Operatives

Our client a fast growing, temperature controlled Logistics company based in Peterborough are seeking a high number of permanent Warehouse Operatives.

This is a Cold Storage Environment and you will be working across the Ambient / Chilled and Freezer departments.

Various shift patterns available
annual salary of from £26,000per year

Main Responsibilities:

*To pick and assemble customers orders as instructed via company WMS
*To load / unload products safely inline with company procedures
*To ensure all loads are dispatched accurately and with the correct documentation
*Reporting any equipment or MHE faults to supervisory team
*To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked correctly and assembled accurately as per instructions
*To ensure dispatched loads are in a secure state before leaving the loading docks
*To work to the standard required to meet the Company’s productivity target
*Ensure all practices and procedures are carried out in line with company Health & Safety policy

Skills/Competencies Required:

*Valid Reach or Counterbalance licence – desirable but not essential
*Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment
*Keen to develop and learn
*Flexibility
*Self disciplined and motivated
