Divisional Support Manager

Salary: £66,000 – £69,600 per year

Stephen James Consulting are working with the one of the most respected care charities in the UK. This newly created role of Divisional Support Manager will primarily focus on supporting the delivery of high quality outcomes and financial performance of a business division, comprising with portfolio growth. 

The Divisional Support Manager is responsible for:

• Supporting the Divisional Director in achieving pre-agreed quality and business targets and KPIs
• Co-ordinating and delivering professional support to a growing portfolio of registered services 
• Supporting Registered Managers with the day-to-day running and development of their home 
• Interim management of a care home in the absence of a Registered Manager or Homes Support Manager (Peripatetic)
• Supporting the successful integration and mobilisation of new homes within the division.
• The Divisional Support Manager will deputise in the absence of the Divisional Director which may include attendance at Board meetings

To be considered for this role of Divisional Support Manager you will need the following experience:

• The successful candidates will ideally have at least 4 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role within residential, dementia or nursing (care homes)

• Level 5 Diploma in Care Leadership & Management for Health and Social Care.

• Full, current driving licence
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant current statutory legislation and good practice principles
• Flexible with travel and overnight stays
