Business Director EMEA: Healthcare Technology / IT. A leading provider of X-Ray and imaging systems has created a new position for a Business Director for their EMEA region. The role will see you providing vision, leadership and strategy for the region in order to achieve its goals. Reporting to a Regional Sales and Service Director the role will see you based from Hertfordshire but will involve international travel.

Business Director – the role:

This position will see you working with a wide cross section of personnel, across various reporting lines, ensuing focus on achieving business goals and exceeding the Annual Operating Plan.

Business Management:

P&L work – Ensuring that territory revenue and earnings targets are met
Operating reviews and forecasting to EMEA management (e.g. revenue, bookings, margin, inventory)
Identifying business growth opportunities
Coordinating local strategy for the roadmap, including integrations, suppliers, partners
Leading local tactics, pricing, promotional activities, etc
Creating business cases for opportunities in order to gain approval for any investment required
Maintains the approval process for sales discounts, tenders and contractsLeadership work:

On quality and regulatory initiatives (e.g. BSI, H&S, etc)
Local statutory requirements for subsidiariesCustomer focus:

Drives customer satisfaction in the territory.
Drives employee focus on customer service excellence and supports use of company quality tools and processes to drive improvement.
Builds and maintains a close business relationship with key customers and market contacts, e.g.; Corporate customer management teams, Dealers, Trade Associations, Department of Health representatives etc.Business Director – the person:

This senior role will require a track-record in a similar role working for a large / global healthcare technology / systems company, with (ideally) experience of working in the IT sector.

Minimum of 5 years experience of successfully managing a P&L

Minimum of 10 years experience in customer relationship management through sales and/or marketing
Minimum of 3 years experience working with a company’s leadership team and committees.
Business person who has significant financial acumen, as well as an analytically disciplined mind and execution style
